The Teamsters have helped to improve the lives of school bus employees in locations all over the country. Since this campaign began the workers have won every campaign.
Nashua, New Hampshire
1/16/08: First Student workers in Nashua, New Hampshire voted overwhelmingly to join the Teamsters, adding another victory in the effort to organize private school bus drivers nationwide. MORE

1/4/08: First Student workers in Lafayette voted YES today 61-25 to secure Teamsters Local 102 as their bargaining representative. MORE

1/4/08: Fist Transit workers knew that in order to gain a voice regarding respect, seniority, pay scale, back pay and health benefits they'd need a strong union. Today they voted 100% in favor of being Teamsters.
Joliet, Illinois
1/3/08: Fist Group workers in Joliet, Illinois overwhelmingly voted to retain the Teamsters Union as their bargaining representative, joining more than 5,000 other drivers, aides and mechanics that’ve made the same decision since May 2006. MORE

12/4/07: Schol bus drivers and aides at First Student's Lawnside, New Jersey yard voted today 95-71 to secure Teamsters Local 676 in Collingswood, NJ as their bargaining representative. MORE

11/29/07: First Transit workers in Buffalo voted today 39-1 to join the Teamsters to gain a voice in the workplace. Their vote secures Local Union 449 as their bargaining representative.

11/16/07: 114 First Student workers in Tacoma voted yes to Teamster representation to gain a voice regarding respect, seniority, pay scale, back pay and health benefits. MORE

11/16/07: First Student workers in Derry, New Hampshire vote by a five to one margin to join the Teamsters in an effort to improve and guarantee their working conditions and compensation. MORE
