When we gathered in Jacksonville for the spirited rally at the First Student yard in late March of this year, we had a lot to share with each other, the media and the company ...

Take a look at what this was all about by checking out the video. You will see, in part, why we are more than 7,000 strong organizing the First Student yards.

Hi Brothers and Sister.

Just found out that you all voted to have the Union in the Yard in Jacksonville that myself Taj and Lew stood outside of. The vote is huge and sends another message to First that workers want a Union and that, that Union is the Teamsters.

Just to say things are not all good in the UK with First. Many of us are negotiating pay and we are faced with 2 1/2% offers that are going to be rejected.Another silly thing that the company are doing is preventing the drivers from wearing shorts.and as I am sure you know most buses have no aircon so it gets hot in the cabs. Still at least we can negotiate and so can you co-workes in Jacksonville now.

Congratulations. A great result.
